DESCRIPTION
1953 Chevy 2-dr. hardtop--210 model--RUNS AND DRIVES AND STOPS. Very solid body and its a complete car. Lots of extra misc. parts and a complete new (in the box) front to back wiring harness from Speedway. All glass is intact & in place in the car...the windshield does have a crack down low and both side door windows have cracks and the quarter Windows do have some hazing around the edges. The engine has been updated to a 235 6-cyl. w/the original style column shifted 3-spd. tranny behind it. Stainless is all in good shape and in place. The floorpans are solid throughout and they do have good heavy patches covering any bad places. The car has front and back seats but both are in need of being reupholstered...although the back seat is covered nicely as are the rear interior qtr. panels. No front door panels or headliner. The dash is completely original and nicely painted. The car has all new complete brake system. And the 53 runs off of a Harwood fuel cell located in the trunk. By the way the trunk pan is very solid and original. The 53 Chevy two-door hardtop has 3 inches of lowering blocks lowering the back into the stance you see in the pictures & they can be easily removed to bring it back to its original stance. We have pictures of the car with the backend raised back up using a jack to give you a better look as to what the car looks like with the original stance... Those additional pictures can be found on our business website:
www.loughmillermotors.com.
The 53 comes with the original style steel wheels with hubcaps pictured in several pictures PLEASE NOTE: For staging purposes only we have staged the 53 with several different wheel tire combinations and they are for staging purposes only and do not come with the car. The '53 has 1954 style taillights for a smoother look and those & the headlights and instrument cluster are not hooked up yet, they are awaiting the installation of the new wiring harness from Speedway that comes w/the car or you can hook up the factory original wiring that is still in place on the car. The 210 Hardtop comes w/a clear Missouri title w/our dealership name on the back...ready for us to reassign to the next owner....or if you wish we can as a dealership send the title off to our State Capitol (Topeka) and get it back in the form of a Kansas title w/our business name printed on the front and ready to sign it over to the new owner.
For more info call Tom 620-231-CARS (2277) or 620-249-7977 (cell)...both of those numbers ring my cell phone... A phone call is the quickest & best way to get precise information about the vehicle that you are looking at. Please feel free to call seven days a week up until 11 PM central time. There are MORE PICTURES on our website www.loughmillermotors.com And as always I can send detailed and specialty pictures by request.
