This is a two-family owned 1963 Buick Riviera Deluxe Interior that is an early production (11,475th made - most likely late Nov. or early Dec. 1962 assembly) and heavily optioned. Originally ordered through Kimball Motor Co., in San Luis Obispo, this incredible example of a mostly original Riviera was lovingly cared for its entire life. The Riviera was ordered with AC, Power Brakes, Cruise Control, remote trunk release, remote side view mirror, power windows and vents, power antennae, original blue leather upholstery, blue window tint on all windows. It has the original floor mats, trunk upholstery/spare tire cover, and service and owner''s manuals. It has the 401ci nailhead 425 Wildcat that was rebuilt in 1993. Some of the items that I would address would be replacing the dash instrument light bulbs, and adjust the turn signal cam. The history that I know of from the previous owner is that the father ordered the Riviera in 1962 and took delivery in April 1963. The Riviera was handed down to the daughter and son-in-law, whom it was purchased from.

Extremely well cared for and maintained, the Riviera received a series of restoration updates from the 1980s through the late 1990s. Some of the updates include: quartz clock conversion, new motors for the power windows and vents, a paint job in 1992, electric fuel pump back up. The updates that I have done since owning the Riviera are: new suspension 2-inch lower coil springs front and rear (Coil Spring Specialties) I still have the original springs if wanted, new KYB Gas Adjust shocks front and rear, new complete original type exhaust system with resonators and dual inlet/outlet muffler, rechromed front and rear bumpers, tail light bezels, powder coated original wheels (including spare), new trunk cardboard divider kit with trunk mat. I am in the process of reducing my car collection in preparation for retirement, and am hoping this will go to a good new home.
