Some classics take years of painstaking work to get the details right. These are the cut-above customs that take extra time and money so that the it not only has a powerful V8, but also the block is painted to match the body. That's why you need to dig into the details on this 1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe, because they put on the extra effort inside & out to create a truly awesome machine.
Every inch of the interior is designed to be memorable. Up front this is meant to be a true smooth operator with wide fenders (w/integrated turn signals) and the well-integrated waterfall grille. And those custom molded headlights look more like they belong on a Jaguar XJS than a '30s-style hot rod a strikingly unique touch. The side continues this smooth attitude with a chopped roofline and shaved door handles. In the rear, integrated taillights and a frenched license palate mean nothing gets in the way of those classic Ford curves. And people will marvel as the trunk electronically opens. Because classic cars need good brightwork, this modern hot rod obliges with a terrific set of polished Colorado Custom alloys. But the most memorable part of this full custom package is absolutely the paint. Either purple or gold would be an outstanding color on this car thanks to a ton of metallic element in the finish. So to have this two-toned so artfully with the tri-color flames as the dividing line makes sure this delivers a lasting first impression.
Pop the remote door openers, and you can see there was even more attention to detail inside. The sleek attitude of the exterior returns with a clutter-free dash, smooth door panels, and a custom center console. It's all finished in a tasteful tan that also matches the carpeting, headliner, and seats for a full uniform presentation that is worthy of awards. And speaking of those seats, they're finished in a supple leather and have outstanding individual bolstering to make sure that this full custom is also quite comfortable. This one comes with great features like power windows and cruise control. There are even provisions for features like an AM/FM/CD stereo and air conditioning. And as you slip behind the wheel, you'll notice it's a Colorado Customs unit with a similar pattern to the exterior alloys yes, this is a thoughtful total build.
Be prepared to be amazed when you lift the hood. We can't remember the last time we saw such a detailed engine bay where the two-tone of the exterior is followed inside here. Even the flames were painted on the inner walls! Extra detail work was also done so that the V8 was painted to match the car, and the everything else was done in polished components. And don't you just love how the flames continue on the etching of the valve covers and air topper? More than just look amazing, this custom was built to move. The 350 cubic-inch motor has been enhanced with a Holley four-barrel carburetor and Edelbrock RPM intake. These gives a sweet tune to the dual exhaust. But don't just listen to it; follow the path in the undercarriage photos. There you'll not only spot the fully painted underside, but also great features like the upgraded chassis, full stainless exhaust, and aluminum driveshaft. Also don't forget to check out the Mustang II-style front end with tubular A-arms and the four-link rear with adjustable coilovers. It's a total package that looks great and was also meant to be driven. And the power steering, a three-speed automatic transmission, and front disc brakes reinforce that driver feeling.
