The timeless icon \"The Hot One\" 1955 with all new ambitious styling statement made a landmark year for Chevrolet. The 1955 V-8 was a bold performance that became a game changer for Chevrolet. Due to Chevy\'s optimum power-to-weight ratio the \'55 was quicker and faster than the competition. The \'55 Chevy featured a Ferrari-inspired egg crate grille, accentuated headlights, a \"Sweep-Sight\" windshield, new door handles, and flush quarter panels. America fell in love with the \'55 Chevrolet, and to this day claiming it to be the \"Blue-Ribbon Beauty\" amongst American classics. The \'55 transformed into one of the most recognizable American cars of all time.
The All New Build has just 190 test miles. This is a complete frame off rotisserie build. Yes, that means every nut and bolt is NEW. The build; sandblast and sealed body and frame, plus anti corrosion protector. Door panels, 1/4 panels, floor braces, rockers, inner fenders, trunk splash panel, upper core support, cross member, trunk panel, trunk floor pan, all hinges are new! The full body and frame have been painted before final assembly. The deep PPG 3-stage Golden Copper paint takes on a life of its own in the natural sun light. This is top level show quality paint.
The interior is done in magnolia leather is the perfect combination for the Golden Copper paint. The two-tone door panels in magnolia and tan leather are that extra styling que. Even the custom leather wrapped steering wheel says class. The gauges are very high- quality analog gauges by Classic Instruments (159360) tan face, brown numbers & red needles. Includes fuel gauge, water temp, speedometer (140 MPH), odometer, voltmeter, oil pressure, tachometer (8000 RPM), turn signal & high beam indicators. All in the original location in a stock chrome cluster bezel keeping the dash clean and professional styling. No need for extra under the dash gauges cluttering the look. Need tunes for cruising? A concours series USA-630 stereo. Give the classic stock look but with all the modern electronics; CD, iPod docking cable, auxiliary inputs, RDS tuner, clock, USB, MP/WMA player, 12 FM station memory. Chevy 350 with classic styling such as fully polished Weiland dual plane medium rise 3x2 intake manifold, tri-power 3x2 SBC Dichromate carbs. The world famous Holley Tri-Power carburetor system is legendary in Chevrolet circles! They were the ultimate power statement. Cruise around economically on the 325 CFM center carb, and when you decide to step on it, the two 350 CFM outboard carbs kick in for head-snapping performance! Classic finned polished valve covers, chrome two-piece wire looms, Billet pulleys and brackets, chrome 100-amp alternator. To keep running cool a performance 3-row aluminum radiator. Matched to a 4-speed manual transmission and a 10-bolt rear end. What\'s a Hot Rod with out great sound? Metallic-Ceramic coated headers, stainless 3\" dual exhaust. This makes the heart race!
Front disc brake conversion with power brake booster, solid surface rotors and rear drums. This beauty can stop on a dime. Power steering with tilt steering column fits the \'55 perfectly. Billet Specialties half-wrap aluminum polished steering wheel in the classic 2-spoke design makes this a showstopper. Plus a custom fit \'55 Chevy car cover at a cost of $331.90.
