2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport 2LT Coupe

For consignment, a 2017 version of the iconic Corvette Grand Sport Heritage Package. Exterior
High intensity headlamps lead the way along with Xenon parking and running lamps which are bordered at the bottom with a carbon fiber splitter in front. A large black grille feeds plenty of air into the engine bay and in keeping with tradition, a subtle but effective Corvette cove, now barely discernible, is within the front quarters. Noted are the red double stripes only on the driver\'s quarter top fender. With extremely raked back front glass, almost like a chopped roofline, rolls gently up and down, and has carbon fiber Watkins Glen Gray matching roof panels which can be removed for some extra thrills and airflow. There is a carbon fiber hood, rear spoiler and side rocker extensions which are somewhat an ode to the former side pipes that would grace the predecessors of this beautiful sports car. On back, racy taillights and a black rear roll panel if you will sport quad exhaust in the center. All of this is bathed in the OEM applied Watkins Glen Gray finish that has been treated to an Xpel Ultimate PPF to keep the shine miles deep. Tinted glass all around adds to the menacing aspect and 19-inch front and 20-inch rear Grand Sport wheels which are polished and chromed aluminum are wrapped in the factory OEM tires right from Michelin.

Interior
Jet Black leather and suede GT bucket seats with 8-way power adjusters provide the cockpit seating arrangement. Heat and A/C are available, power windows, a central drivers info center, and a telescoping steering column with a suede wrapped rally wheel and paddle shifters front this high tech dash. The 8-inch touchscreen offers up plenty of accessible features including Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 4GLTE WIFI, and XM radio which you\'ll need a subscription for. A very simple central digital LED dash displays a tachometer switchable to a speedometer display, and digital oil psi and water temp gauges on either side. Analog pointer gauges flank on either side and provide the rest of the data needed to carry on. Also noted in the central dash are plenty of buttons to control temp of seats, air flow front and rear defrost and A/C. A wide central console which doubles as an armrest and storage houses the shift lever and a wheel style mouse to make handling and suspension changes on the fly. All beautifully taken care of and in near mount clean condition for this interior.

Drivetrain
Fairly unassuming until a pop of the hood, but there is a caged monster under those plastic coverings! 6.2 liters of A&A supercharged V8 with direct injection and variable valve timing awaits us and has been fitted with a Mighty Mouse catch can, AEM methanol injection, and a Baro-Breakout 3 bar MAP sensor. This combination works together to generate a dyno proven 675.19hp at the rear tires. On back for this Grand Sport is a 7-speedmanual transmission with rev match capability and an active limited slip 3.42 geared rear axle. Cooks Headers and a flex fuel package are on. Pull those belts tight just one more time!

Undercarriage
All clean and rust free we see 4-wheel independent suspension with active handling and magnetic ride control. There is speed sensitive power steering, a rear differential cooler, and multi-mode exhaust. Brembo brakes in power disc form are on all 4 corners with slotted rotors.

Drive-Ability
A mighty roar with the push of a button, and we were off to the test track. Handling was wonderful, braking on a dime, and infinite acceleration quickly overwhelmed the test track. Ergonomically it is very comfy once you get in, (it\'s very low!), and all functions were working as they should.

With hash marks, carbon fiber, a front splitter and rear spoiler, huge wheels, and all the handling and magnetic controls for suspension available, you can virtually set up this car for a racing setup, or a Sunday cruise, all the while you will look great doing it. You are in an example of America\'s Sports Car.
