1969 CHEVROLET C-10 PICKUP C-840 350ci V8 Engine TH350 Automatic Transmission Front Disc Brake Conversion GM 12-Bolt Rear End Deep Black Paint 20 inch Boss Wheels Lowered Stance Often overlooked as the gateway to classic or muscle car ownership, the second-generation of Chevrolets C/K line marks the turning point when the motor company realized it could offer truck buyers modern conveniences and comfort options in the same way it did sedan shoppers. One of the most popular pickups back in its day, the Chevrolet C10 is now more popular than ever in the Resto Mod scene. These once utilitarian, rough and tumble vehicles are seeing a new, contemporary life with modern, efficient mechanicals, bagged suspensions that take the chop out of the road, and bodywork far better than when they left the factorypractically a modern Silverado in C10 clothing. Case in point: this black-on-black 1969 Chevrolet C10 Pickup. Its bold lines have been sharpened, and its deep, rich paint makes it a real head turner. Meanwhile, its bright trim, chrome bumpers and polished 20-inch Boss wheels provide just the right amount of bling without being distracting. Motivation for the rig comes in the form of a Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine backed by a Turbo 350 3-speed Automatic Transmission thats shifted via a floor-mounted B&M Megashifter. A GM 12-bolt differential sends power to the rear Boss wheels. The lowered stance of the truck can be customized on the fly, courtesy of the airbag suspension, while power steering and power brakes with front discs and rear drums take care of the handling and braking chores. The C10s interior is all business with a black bench seat, custom door panels, a three-spoke wood-trimmed steering wheel and an AM/FM/CD stereo. The raised, oak-lined and stainless-trimmed bed is a nice throwback to pickups of yore, while still providing ample space to lay the chassis on the ground at your next truck-in. ***If you are viewing this on Facebook Marketplace, be sure go to our website to view all photos.
