DESCRIPTION
INTRODUCTION: This Camaro is a knockout! Finished in very rare, special order Corvette Bronze, indicated by the special paint code on the trim tag, it has been treated to a meticulous frame off restoration. The exceptional fit, finish and attention to detail make this one rise above most others!
EXTERIOR: The fit and finish on this Camaro is outstanding, but what really sets it apart is the special order Corvette Bronze paint, indicated by the two dashes on the trim tag. The body fits beautifully and is straight from the rockers to the roof. It is clean and impressive throughout, with a cowl hood and spoilers adding the right amount of muscle. The metallic is laid out evenly and the finish is polished like a mirror. Further enhanced with hockey stick stripes and blacked out tail panel. It appears all of the chrome and trim has been replaced, including the correct antenna. All of the weatherstrips were replaced, along with the front and rear glass, while the remaining glass is tinted. It sits proud on a set of 15x8 Rally wheels with all new shiny trim, wrapped in BFGoodrich tires.
INTERIOR: The Deluxe interior is immaculate and extremely tidy throughout. The dash features the factory gauge package, including the tachometer and the additional gauges mounted in the console. It has the correct horseshoe shifter, upgraded with an overdrive indicator for the automatic overdrive transmission. The carpets are fresh and fit beautifully. The seats have been recushioned and reupholstered, the seat backs and headrests were replaced, and the driver\'s seat rides on extended tracks to comfortably accommodate taller drivers. The molded door panels and window cranks were replaced, while the dash pad, headliner, visors, mirror and reproduction steering wheel all look like new. It even retains a factory AM-FM radio, correct GM seat belts and an owner\'s manual in the glove box!
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is a very stout 350 making approximately 370 horsepower. It\'s a crate motor with 4-bolt mains and a healthy cam, topped with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and carburetor with electric choke. An electronic ignition system provides reliable spark. It presents exceptionally well throughout, including the brackets, pulleys, valve covers and air cleaner. It features power steering and power brakes with a cadmium plated booster. The alternator looks fresh, and the shroud, horns and windshield squirters are all properly installed and hooked up. The surrounding metal surfaces are clean and neatly painted, making this a very tidy and impressive engine compartment.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Open the trunk and the quality continues. The underside of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted just as slick and glossy as the exterior, complete with reproduction decal and a replaced weatherstrip. Inside is very clean, solid metal with a neatly applied factory style spatter finish and an excellent fitting reproduction trunk mat.
UNDERSIDE: This Camaro was treated to a body off restoration, and underneath it is very tidy and proper. The front subframe and control arms were thoroughly prepped and painted, while all of the steering and suspension has been completely rebuilt or replaced. It has a factory type dual exhaust system with the transverse muffler and polished tips. The brake system has been gone through with discs in front, drums in back, replaced lines and a working e-brake assembly. The fuel system was also replaced, including the tank and lines. Looking up at the motor, it is spotless Chevy orange and even the starter looks fresh. The transmission was upgraded to a 700R4 4-speed automatic with overdrive, making it much more enjoyable at highway speeds. A new driveshaft leads back to the 3.31 12 bolt posi rear end. Most importantly, the original floors are completely solid and clean.

Take it from me, I look at thousands of cars, not just Camaros, and this one is exceptional. The meticulous frame off restoration, outstanding fit and finish, and rare special order Corvette Bronze paint put this one in a league of its own.
