DESCRIPTION

This F-100 has undergone a complete body off frame custom build. It has some very impressive performance which is obvious the moment you fire up the 507 cubic inch engine. It makes a reliable driver too; the owner has put 10,000 miles on it!

EXTERIOR: They started with an all steel rust free truck. It has a new steel box, a custom forward tilting hood and fiberglass running boards. The body work is excellent: straight, no rust or damage. The fuel filler was relocated. Professionally painted with PPG Grabber Blue, it has a smooth and glossy finish. Custom stainless-steel bumpers, stainless hardware used throughout. New chrome, mirrors, handles and a locking gas cap. The weather strips, gaskets and fender welts were replaced. It has a 3rd brake light below the tailgate. New glass and upgraded sliding rear window. It\'s rolling on Pro Star wheels: 15x6 in front, 15x12 in the back with a pair of Hoosier Pro Street tires.

INTERIOR: The inside of the cab is painted smooth and glossy. It is lined with sound deadener. When you are sitting in the truck you will be looking at a matched set of Stewart Warner gauges, billet knobs and handles and a cushion grip wheel on a tilt column. Rebuilt seat and custom door panels upholstered to match in gray tweed. Gray headliner kit and matching visors. Upgraded retractable shoulder belts. Down on the floor is a B&M shifter and chrome pedals. It has a complete Vintage Air set up inside the cab and plumbed to the firewall.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: There\'s a surprise, it has one of the biggest V8s ever made: a Cadillac 500 cubic inch! It has a performance build: bored to a 507, custom cut billet cam, silver light pistons, custom made headers with jet hot coating, a blueprinted HEI distributor with an Excel ignition, Mallory fuel pump and filter and an Edelbrock intake with a 750 Edelbrock carb. The valve covers are one of a kind custom made by the owner. Griffin aluminum radiator with a custom-made shroud and a stainless overflow tank. It features power steering and brakes. Clean engine bay is painted slick.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the box is mint. The metal is straight, it has tubbed wheel wells and it\'s painted as slick as the outside. Custom tailgate latches. Refinished oak floor boards.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame. The original frame has been boxed and painted gloss black. It has a 72 Camaro front clip with tubular control arms, 2 inch drop spindles and a sway bar. In back it has lowering blocks in the leaf springs and custom-made ladder bars. Disc brakes in front, 11-in drums in back. Relocated stainless steel gas tank. Great sounding 3 inch exhaust with Terminator mufflers and it exits each side of the truck under the running board. Looking up at the motor it has an extra capacity oil pan. The trans is a Turbo 400 with a deep chrome pan, remote oil cooler, a shift kit and a Grand National converter. A custom-made driveshaft connects to a narrowed Ford 9 inch rear with 3.50 Richmond posi gears, Moser axles and big bearings.

SERVICE: It passed inspection with flying colors. The tachometer is randomly inaccurate.

I have more respect for this truck after my inspection, it is a quality build that has proven itself! It has 10,000 miles and it\'s been done several years yet it performs and looks like new!

I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle. Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car\'s condition in detail. **These cars are displayed in a museum. If interested in a particular car, make an appointment with a salesman to see that car. Without an appointment there is an admission fee to enter the showroom. If you buy a car, your admission will be refunded, and you will be given a 1 year membership.
