Now here\'s a true member of boulevard royalty. This 1964 Chevrolet Impala is not only one seriously iconic cruiser, but it\'s also ready for action just as soon as you bring it home. Equipped with both a Holley four-barrel carburetor and an aluminum intake manifold from the same manufacturer, the engine is in fine form, starting up promptly and pulling with plenty of enthusiasm as it pairs with a 4-speed manual Muncie transmission that puts full control of its output in the hands of the driver via a floor-mounted shifter. Long tube headers leading to a dual exhaust that terminates in a pair of Edelbrock mufflers minimize back-pressure while yielding a fitting sound for a venerable ride like this.
