Body off frame restored. This is documented by Pontiac Historical Service and original build sheet. It is a real GTO convertible born black with a 4-speed. It is gorgeous!!

EXTERIOR: Clean original Texas metal. It\'s arrow straight, fits square. No rust or damage. Repainted it\'s original Starlight Black color and it\'s polished smooth and glossy. It was just given a red hand pinstripe down each side. Very good original grills and tail panel. Bumpers look great. New emblems and mirrors. New windshield. Weatherstrips were replaced. New power black convertible top. Brand new 15 inch Rally 1 wheels and radial redline tires.

INTERIOR: Reupholstered seats. Door panels, armrests, handles and cranks were replaced. New carpet and embroidered mats. New dash pad. Clean instrument area. Upgraded VHX gauges light up red. It has a retro stereo with auxiliary plug. Upgraded polished tilt column with a cushioned grip wheel. LED interior lights. Original 4-speed console has some pitting. New wiring and updated fuse panel.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Correct 389 motor with proper casting date and WT engine suffix. Correct 77 heads, correct professionally restored tri-power carb set up, correct exhaust manifolds. Completely rebuilt and balanced by Pontiac specialists Butler Performance. Complete Blueprint and assembly build sheet is included. It has Comp cam, Ross pistons. Upgraded distributor and a set of headers. It has power steering and upgraded power brake system with dual reservoir. Overall clean and proper looking.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid is glossy. Rock solid metal trunk floor. New weatherstrip, well liner, mat and tire cover over the spare. LED trunk light.

UNDERSIDE: The body was off the frame during restoration. Not only has the front end been completely rebuilt but it is upgraded with coil over adjustable gas shocks and some fat tubular control arms. In back it is upgraded with upper and lower tubular control arms and a sway bar. New shocks. Upgraded brake system, disc at all 4 wheels. New brake lines, hoses and e-brake assembly. Custom stainless Pypes 3 inch exhaust with x-pipe and splitter tips. New fuel system including the tank, straps, sending unit and fuel lines. Looking up at the motor it is clean, upgraded high torque starter. Rebuilt driveshaft. Original Muncie 4-speed dated to this car was rebuilt. The metal floors, rockers and even lower quarters are dry, clean original metal.

Very desirable car, the Beach Boys even made a song about it! The only thing better than opening up all 3 carbs as you\'re shifting through the gears is doing it with the top down!
