DESCRIPTION

INTRODUCTION: This is Heidts\' very own research and development car! Heidts has consigned it to us, so you\'re buying it directly from the source. Of course, it was built right- wait until you drive it! This is the car Heidts uses to showcase and promote their high performance suspension products, and it has proven itself on both the street and the track. Talk about a once in a lifetime opportunity!

EXTERIOR: Walking around this car, you can really appreciate all the custom touches. The body has been completely smoothed out, eliminating all the emblems, marker lights, and antenna for a clean, sleek appearance. Even the bumpers have been smoothed! It has a cowl hood and rear spoiler that give it an aggressive look. The moldings around the front and rear windows have a brushed stainless finish. In back, it features custom billet taillight bezels with LED lights and a flush mounted fuel filler. Check out those slick custom billet door handles with exposed fasteners! It carved the road on a set of Forgeline wheels, 18s up front and 20s in back, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport performance tires. The combination of subtle body modifications and high end custom components really sets this car apart!

INTERIOR: This is a purpose built performance interior! Heidts fabricated a 1-inch tubular roll cage that not only adds to the aggressive appearance but also increases chassis rigidity for superior handling. The floors are covered with nicely fitted carpet, a cloth headliner overhead and the door panels and armrests have been replaced. Custom fabricated tin inserts finish off the rear compartment. Up front are Procar fixed-back racing bucket seats with racing harnesses. These seats are designed to hold you firmly in place during spirited driving, so getting in and out takes a little extra effort. Keep in mind, this was Heidts\' actual research and development car, built to be driven and tested, not just displayed. The driver\'s seat proudly shows some wear from its time being put through its paces. It\'s part of the car\'s history and authentic character! The custom dash insert houses a full set of Pro Comp gauges. Other features include a billet shifter, a MOMO black suede steering wheel on a tilt column, a Wilwood forward mount dual pedal assembly with a fly-by-wire gas pedal. The oversized rear view mirror comes in handy because that\'s where you\'re going to see your competition, not in front of you!

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Heidts turned to legendary LS engine builder Kurt Urban to create an LS3 capable of producing over 700 horsepower! It features a COMP roller cam with an LS7 grind, topped with a FAST LSXR 102mm intake, Big Mouth throttle body, billet fuel rails, and Precision Flow injectors. A 1,000 horsepower capable forced induction fuel system supplies the fuel, while FAST EFI engine management controls it all. Keeping things cool is a custom AutoRad aluminum radiator with integrated core support, shroud, overflow tank, and dual electric fans. Additional performance upgrades include coated DynoTech MuscleMax LSX headers, a cold air intake, dry sump oiling system, and power steering. The engine bay is beautifully detailed with custom fabricated brushed stainless inner fenders and billet hood hinges. This is a serious, professionally built powerhouse!

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Under the trunk lid and the jamb are painted to match the exterior. Inside is all clean, smooth metal painted black. This is where you\'ll find the adjustable shock reservoirs and the catch can from the motor. The battery has also been relocated to the trunk and includes a master disconnect key.

UNDERSIDE: Of course, it\'s completely tricked out with Heidts suspension! It features their Pro-G system from front to back, detailed in red. Up front is a wide tire bolt in subframe with RideTech TQ Series adjustable coilover gas shocks with remote reservoirs, splined swaybar, tubular control arms and rack and pinion steering. Frame connectors with tubular control arms tie the front and back together. In back is a Heidts Pro-G independent rear suspension with RideTech HQ coilovers that have remote adjustable reservoirs. The brakes are massively upgraded with Wilwood components, featuring 14-inch rotors and 6-piston calipers up front, and 10-inch smooth rotors with inboard forged Dynalite 4-piston calipers in back. It also has a Heidts parking brake system with a floor mounted handle. A custom Heidts fabricated 3-inch stainless steel exhaust with MagnaFlow resonators delivers an aggressive sound. The drivetrain features a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed transmission with a Quick Time bellhousing, Quarter Master Street Slayer ceramic clutch kit, Pro Grip billet flywheel, and 3.73 posi gears. The solid floors are protected with black chip guard.
