While SUVs account for what feels like every other car on the road these days, with many crossovers being more car than truck, it was not so until almost forty years ago. Repainted in what appears to be a shade of Cerulean Blue, it retains its staunch boxy construction with clean-looking body panels and trim. Inside, we find the sea of blue continues with cozy bucket seats up front and a two-person bench in the back, complete with dual armrests. A no-frills dashboard keeps things simple and easy, while the analog HVAC controls sit easily within the driver\'s reach.

Under the hood, we find a GM 2.8-liter V-6 engine that uses throttle-body injection and makes 125 horsepower and 150 pounds of torque in stock form. That power is routed through a column-shifted four-speed automatic transmission before heading to the ten-bolt rear end. Currently, the 4WD system is non-operational. However, given the budget price, the new owner can enjoy the vehicle as it sits or invest time and money to be operational again. The S15 Jimmy rides on a torsion bar, shocks up front, and leaves springs and shocks out back.
