The previous owner repainted the corvette in base coat clear coat, he also installed headers, dual exhaust, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Brawler carburetor, and much more. We changed the oil and filter, transmission fluid and filter, and checked and lubed the chassis. We replaced the upper and lower control arm bushings, upper and lower ball joints, front shocks, sway bar links, power steering hoses, spark plugs, fuel sending unit, tongue bushing, selector seal, left front brake caliper, and much more. GM produced 40,606 corvettes in 1981 with only a limited number done in the two tone paint scheme. This was the last year for the Saint Louis Assembly Plant and the first year for the Bowling Green Plant.
