DESCRIPTION
This 1981 Chevrolet Corvette has the right kind of cruiser style. It includes the numbers-matching V8, an upgraded overdrive transmission, a comfy interior, and a cool color combo to show off when the T-tops are out.
Classic White is a great factory-correct color, and this was updated later in life. So today it has a good glow and timeless style. Nice body lines, clean glass, and good T-tops give it a well-respected look. The overall effect is a car that looks good, but it\'s far from being so precious that you\'ll be afraid to drive this coupe... and that\'s exactly the right tone for this one. As you look at the whole package, you\'ll see nice additions and maintenance for a true cruiser. And we love the style of these later C3s with the deep chin spoiler, ducktail end, and optional N90 aluminum wheels. Plus, this one makes sure to have added sporty style with the wide bright dual exhaust tips and the pinstripe that highlight the wave-like form of the profile.
The cinnamon red pinstripe on the outside is also a nice preview of the interior color. And the distinctly dark color of the inside looks so good against the exterior white that this is an attractive style for when you take the T-tops out and show off the full package. Plus, the seats, carpeting, and door panels have a look of quality that makes this a particularly nice place to spend some time. It also has nice features like power windows, cruise control, a rear defogger, and provisions for air conditioning (it will need servicing to blow cold again.) The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column, and it offers a terrific view of the large speedo and tach. And all the auxiliary gauges are mounted high in the center of the dash so you can keep an eye on everything.
Under the hood is the numbers-matching 350 cubic-inch V8. It\'s always nice to see this in a Corvette as a true sign of good respect over the years. This also feels well-maintained like a car that wants to be driven. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, it fires up with gusto. And the upgrade to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission means you now have highway-friendly overdrive. The fully-independent sports suspension, power steering, and four-wheel power disc brake package make for an all-around desirable classic driver experience.
Complete with maintenance records, this is a classic Corvette with the right touches to make it a sharp looker and a solid cruiser. So don\'t miss a great driver\'s classic. Call today!!!
