This 1960 Studebaker Lark VI has a great legacy that proved that even economy cars had style back in the day. And with its sharp but honest presentation - right down to the correct motor - you're going to love this classic.

Black is a great color when done right. It's a respray later in life that retains a good gloss to show off the quality fit of the classic lines. And you want a little added distinction, because the stock look of a Lark is totally unique to Studebaker. The front has a grille so imposing that they would use it on the trucks. And there's a line of trim that starts here, wraps around the front, and loops all the way around the back. This same trim also showcases a stylish kick-up in the rear fender and the artful design of the trunk. And there's more great detail work with the wraparound rear window, tastefully integrated tail light design, and even the bright chrome bumpers. It all proves that Studebaker really had style.

The interior continues this car's stock style with a handsome setup. The red is vibrant, and there is plenty of black accenting to coordinate with the exterior. The appearance is like a time capsule from the 1960s, but from the moment you sit down, you can feel that there was a nice investment in keeping this feeling far fresher. Everything just feels correct on this one, right down to the trunk with correct spare and jack. The classic dual-spoke steering wheel only has skinny stalks for the gearshift and turn signals on the column. So you get a great view of the gauges, all the surrounding controls, and the open road.

Under the hood is more of the honest presentation that makes this car fantastic. As a Lark VI, it comes with the correct-style 170 cubic-inch straight-six. These were popular when new because they were sturdy cars, and the way this continues to fire up and run feels like a part of that legacy. And out on the road, it really does provide the full classic car experience, right down to the column-shifted three-speed manual transmission.

The sale even comes with a host of spare components. The Lark was an economy car when new, and the price today still proves it knows the value of a dollar. So don't miss out on a terrific vintage deal. The car is currently being sold on a clean Tennessee title from 2018. It does show a prior salvage on a title search from 2013 but the reason is unknown.
