Here's a full midnight muscle machine. With a slick black paint, correct Rally Sport front end, a powerful crate V8, and the right performance upgrades, this 1967 Chevrolet Camaro RS feels like an intimidating classic.
Black paint always brings out the sinister side of a first-generation Camaro. It has a good gloss and shine that comes from an upgrade later in life. This dark look makes for a nice backdrop to highlight the chrome bumpers, rockers, and trim. But the overall package is about extra aggression. It starts with the classic pieces, like the power bulge of the cowl hood, deep chin spoiler, full-width rear spoiler, and upgraded SS trim. Plus, the modern 18-inch US Mags adds to the mean blackout style while also adding to the sporty stance. And while the 3L in the trim tag tells this is a desirable real-deal Rally Sport, behind those hidden headlight doors are a terrific set of upgraded headlights with menacing LED halos (headlight doors will need servicing to work properly).
The black interior continues the car's mean appearance. It has a deep and dark look on the seats, door panels, carpeting, and dash all give this a quality look. But the features you'll really appreciate are what make this a better driver's machine. You have classic pieces like the front bucket seats, a center console, and the thin/grippy three-spoke steering wheel. These are joined by awesome upgrades like AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauges with large speedo and tach, a B&M shifter, and an AutoMeter shift light prominently mounted on the top of the steering column. And you have a full auxiliary gauge package that includes an RPM module selector.
The engine bay looks both clean and mean. This is a 350 cubic-inch V8, and the consignor even states that it's been upgraded to a 383ci stoker motor. It is a healthy powerhouse that also has performance upgrades like AFR aluminum heads, a Holley four-barrel carburetor, an Edelbrock Performer intake, Mallory Unilite billet distributor, electronic ignition, and long tube headers feeding rumbling H-pipe dual exhaust. The TH400 three-speed automatic transmission is a stout unit, and it feeds a strong 12-bolt rear end. In fact, strength is a central part of the undercarriage with subframe connectors and traction bars. And for added stopping power you have modern sport tires and a recent upgrade to power front disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors.
Bold looks and strong power come together on a real-deal RS Camaro. So don't let this mean machine slip through your fingers. Call today!!!
