Stk#033 1948 Mercury Coupe
There is a custom-built hardtop for the car. Chassis is Fatman Fabrications with a Mustang II front end. This is one good looking car and a dependable driver.
Painted a beautiful Red paint with Tan convertible top. The grill looks good and the headlight trim and headlights are like new. Tail lights trim is also like new. The trunk trim has been replated. Body side moldings look good. Rocker panel moldings are good, door handles, window rubber, dual outside mirrors all are good. The emblems, hood emblem, wiper arms are good. The third brake light is in rear license plate frame. Front & rear bumpers are like new, antenna is like new. 1989 Mercury wheels with 55 Cadillac hubcaps and centers from '54 Mercury emblem. White wall tires and Reese hitch. This is an eye catcher!
The seats are from a 2006 Cadillac and are Cream leather. Power seats on driver and passenger side. Back seats custom fitted to the car. Cream door panels and arm rest, Door handles and vent window cranks are like new. Power windows front & back. Tilt column, tan leather wrapped steering wheel. Dash is two tone red and Tan insert. Console with Automatic shifter and cup holders and power window switch. Tan Sunvisor’s, tan carpet and carpeted floor mats are tan. Tan kick panels with lights. Beautiful inside.
The engine is a 1991 Lincoln Mark 7 LSC 302hp, Fuel injection engine with Lincoln Mark 7 LSC Automatic transmission. Aluminum radiator, electric fan, 4-wheel power disc brakes. Stainless overflow tank. Drives and handles great! Ready for the summer shows and cruise ins.
