DESCRIPTION
This 1973 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 tribute is a split-bumper bad boy with a mean appearance. So when you hear the growl of the enhanced small block, you'll be all smiles.
This is a sweet spot for some Camaro lovers. The first few years of the 2nd generation cars carried crisp lines and a sleek fastback profile. This kind of mean styling deserves this deep black paint and a power dome cowl hood. Plus the classic dual racing stripes are painted on in a distinct silver. And this has all the best details, like the Z/28 badging, ducktail rear spoiler, form-fitting rear bumper, and the iconic split bumper RS front end. And the upgrade to Weld-style racing wheels gives this a nice stance while still fitting the classic attitude.
The black interior keeps the dark and intimidating attitude going. This is built to be a driver's machine, and so you have high-back front bucket seats, an NK4 sports steering wheel, and added auxiliary readouts on the center console. And as performance-minded as this is, you also can see it's a proper classic. The controls for air conditioning are still in place (it will need components and servicing to restore the function.) The seats have a classic pleated design. And the dome light even still greets you when the door opens.
Under the hood is a bright and tidy 350 cubic-inch V8 that feels like it's radiating with power from within the dark engine bay. That's because this is upgraded with aluminum heads, an Edelbrock intake, and topped with an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. There are also nice supporting components like an HEI distributor and an aluminum radiator. Plus, headers add extra power and rumble as they feed the dual exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers. There's also a three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, front discs, and rear traction bars for an all-around solid driver.
There are pieces you may want to update/upgrade, like a modern set of tires, a nice detail to upgrade the paint, or add a modern stereo. But overall, this coupe has the style, stance, power, and rumble you really want in a means and iconic Z/28 and RS tribute. Call today!!!
