HAS IT ALL

This is a very nice original 1935 Ford coupe up for sale.

Exterior:
The paint looks to be older and has some chips here and there but it shined up very well with a good waxing. All of the body panels are steel and very solid with no rust issues.
The glass is all in very good shape.
The windshield cranks out like it did from the factory, the door glasses roll up and down easily and the back window even rolls up and down easily.
The grille is near perfect and does not have any bent up grille bars.
The cowl vent opens like it did from the factory as well.
The wheels are the original style 16" wires with very nice Coker Classic 6.00-16" wide white walls.
Both bumpers are nice, all of the trim, head lights and spare tire carrier are all in great shape.
The head lights work on low and high beam and are operated by the original switch on the steering wheel.
Interior:
It has all of the original style mohair interior that is in excellent shape.
The seat is really nice and comfortable.
The door panels are in really good shape and not torn up.
The steering wheel is in great shape. The headliner is in good shape but the panel below the rear window is a little loose.
The dash is in really good shape. The speedometer bounces but does not operate correctly.
The wipers do not work and the horn does not work.
Drivetrain:
The Flathead V8 starts right up and runs great. It seems to have good power and pulls the car down the road well. The casting numbers on the heads are 740-6050B and the date code is 1-24-45. I could not see the engine serial number.
The 3 speed manual transmission shifts well and the clutch feels good.
It has the original rear end under it as well.
Suspension:
It still has all of the original leaf springs and straight axle under the car and look to be in great shape.
The car still has the original mechanical brakes and while they stop the car it feels like they could really stand to be adjusted. If I were planning on keeping the car I would just plan on upgrading it to hydraulic brakes.
The original manual steering box feels good and does not have a lot of slack in it. It steers very easily.
The car really is a joy to drive. There aren''''t many of these original cars left in this condition.
