VOLO AUTO MUSEUM
27582 VOLO VILLAGE RD
Body off frame, rotisserie restored to show condition. Has all the modern upgrades you want along with a bit of nostalgia from the 409 big block.
EXTERIOR: This is a really beautiful color in person, definitely has that custom look. The body is super clean and arrow straight. The paint is like a mirror that you could dive right into. The roof is offset with a nice white finish. In front the bumper, trim, headlight bezels are new, has an original grill. Has new 409 cross flag emblems on the fenders. New bowtie mirrors, windshield and door handles. In back it has a rear mount antenna, new trunk emblems and bumper. Has a nice set of 17 inch American Racing rims and performance tires. Jambs are painted real nice, bottom of the doors are clean. Has new weather strips, sill plates, latches are cleaned up. New window seals, side glass is tinted.
INTERIOR: Completely redone custom interior. Seats and door panels are reupholstered to match. Carpet and headliner has been replaced. The dash area is all repainted. It has been modified to accommodate 3 white face gauges, a/c vents and a 12 V receptacle. The a/c controls look stock but are actually new from Vintage Air, now electric no more cables. A retro stereo was installed with 2 kick panel speakers and 6x9 speakers in the rear deck. New chrome tilt column with a painted stock steering wheel. Has Promatic 2 shifter on the floor. Has seatbelts, retractable in front.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Very cool to see a 409 under the hood instead of a much more common 350. This 409 has a performance rebuild. On top it has FI Tech Go electronic fuel injection system and Edelbrock performer intake. Has electronic ignition system. Brand new shiny brake booster, new master and lines. Has chrome alternator. Vintage Air heat and air conditioning system with R134 freon. The motor runs cool with an aluminum Champion radiator, has the original style shroud. Firewall and under the hood are painted shiny blue.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Plenty of room in here for coolers and folding chairs. Clean metal with a durable coat of gray spatter paint. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jam or painted slick blue and has a new weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: The floors are painted blue just as slick as the body, very impressive. Chassis is satin black. The front end is completely rebuilt, has sway bar and KYB gas shocks. Has disc brake upgrade. Bottom of the motor looks fresh, has new freeze plugs. Starter looks recent. Trans is a TCI turbo 350 with aluminum finned pan. In back it has KYB gas shocks, boxed trailing arms and panhard bar. New fuel tank and sending unit. The dual exhaust is bent neatly along the frame. It looks new underneath.
This is a great looking car that is unique, stands out from all the others. It's a tremendous value considering the frame off restoration, a built 409 and air conditioning. You say you never get a deal....here you go!
