DESCRIPTION

1934 Chevrolet Master Coupe

Today, that remains very much the same, with this gorgeous little 1934 Chevrolet Master coupe offered for consignment. It\'s been rodded and customized, painted and primped, lowered and shaved, and all bathed on menacing black. It has a custom leather interior and a powerful modded 383ci V8 under the hood. Time to GO!

Exterior
The tall vertically ribbed chromed grille shows the way up front and the single chrome bezel and cased headlight on either side lights the scene at night. The front bottom of the car\'s curvaceous front fenders, and central under the radiator panel are all bathed in PPG black. This all fiberglass line continues through the wheel wells then back down to the running board where it runs rearward to the rear fender. A nice long cowled hood has plenty of hot rod vertical louvers on the sides and it hooks up with the passenger compartment at the firewall. The roof is all steel as is the reminder of the body. A rounded cabin has a D shaped rear glass, which melts into the C curved downward trunk line and frames the single doors which have well minded gaps. On either side of the trunk are wide flaring fenders with frenched tail light within their bottoms. All handles have been shaved to keep it simple and on the back below the curvaceous roll pan are dual dual chrome tipped exhaust. The car rides on 15-inch front and rear 16-inch wheels wrapped with 195/60R15\'s and 275/70R16\'s respectively. A note to the paint, there are 7 coats of it and it is definitely the deep end of the rust free pool.

Interior
We swing the front hinged popper actuated doors and are greeted with pristine black sills that swoop downward with a lower oyster off white leather smooth lower panel. It has some smaller vertical tuck and roll near the bottoms. A billet actuator and power window toggles, as well as an armrest are here too. Inside, curved power adjusted wide bolstered leather high back buckets with headrests fill the cabin. These are in the oyster and have just a hint of black accenting. They float black carpeting and cozy up top a chromed tilt column topped with a black leather rimmed banjo styled rally steering wheel. This fronts an all steel black painted now complete modern dash front. It sports some purple flourish pinstripes that surround a central elongated oval instrument panel that has a machined swirl pattern on it. The gauges are circular and have black faces and shiny chrome bezels. Above is a Dakota Digital AC control panel and below the dash are the vents. In the center on the floor is a billet cast piston topped shifter and small square console with cupholders. Hold my beer please! Above the oyster and black leather on the headliner is another upper console which houses some eyeball lights and an AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio. A shout out the trunk which is also covered in tuck and roll oyster leather with a black carpeted floor and stainless battery box.

Drivetrain
Under the cowled hood is an impressive display of hot rod splendor. It comes in the form of a 383ci V8 with Keith Black 9.5-1 pistons and a custom ground camshaft. It will produce 425hp. The mill has Dart Pro-1 aluminum cylinder heads, and roller rockers. On top is an Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap intake and it is topped by an Edelbrock AVS2 carburetor. On back is a 700R4 4 speed automatic with a shift kit. The rear axle weighs in at 12 bolts and 3.73 posi gears. All very machined looking and very clean under the cowls.

Undercarriage
Equally as impressive as we now see a square tubular chassis, dropped chromed front axle, and 4 link setup for the rear axle. QA-1 adjustable coilover shocks are on all 4 corners, and all wheel power disc brakes are seen. Headers and stainless steel mufflers snake their way rearward for the quad tipped exhale. All rust free and all buttoned up under here.

Drive-Ability
After moving the huge binder of build info and pictures out of the way I slipped in where the car fired right up and off to the test track like a gangster being pursued by the Po Po, only I was evading my boss who wanted to talk about something but I was in no mood! The car ran smoothly, shifted nice and easy, and had good braking. All functions were working just fab.

A high end custom build for sure with all the right stuff for this 1934 example. Read the binder if you are really interested as I\'m limited as to space for this description. Just a great car. Oh oh! gotta go here comes that pesky boss again ...I\'m still on the lamb. Rat tat tat tat..
