1965 Chevrolet Chevelle

Chevrolet introduced the Chevelle in 1964, making available a wide variety of models ranging from stripped-down grocery getters to the top-of-the-line Super Sport model as this 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS is. The SS Chevelle would become one of the most popular muscle cars of all time and remains a favorite with collectors today. Curved side glass and crisp styling combined with sparkling small block V-8 performance helped give these cars a nice send-off, and given the fact that compact sales had started to wane during 1963, these cars proved to be perfectly timed to capture the mood of America, which was once again moving towards somewhat larger, sportier and more powerful cars. Powering this classic is a Chevy small block V8 mated to 3-speed automatic transmission. The engine features power steering, a Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold topped with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, HEI ignition, chrome Edelbrock valve covers and matching chrome open element air cleaner and long tube headers that exit through dual exhaust pipes with old-school turn-downs at the end.

This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu SS is not a fully restored show car, however, it is a great looking, complete vintage car that can be enjoyed today.
