The Ford Mustang GT 5.0 is already a legend for offering a fuel-injected classic with the right amount of power and poise all for a value price. So it only gets better when this modern classic fastback has been given a solid investment to upgrade all the performance that makes you love these Fox-body ponies.
This Mustang is a bit more aggressive, but it does it in subtle ways. For example, the factory-correct two-tone is likely original and has plenty of modern appeal. What it also does is highlight some of the best features of the GT with the lighter gray drawing attention to the factory body kit. And you might be too enamored by the shine of the upgraded SVE wheels to see just how massively wide the rear ones are. We'd never call a fastback Mustang stealth, but this one just likes to be shrewdly intimidating.
Inside this same spirit of proper modern classic with the right upgrades continues. These Mustangs had some of the best factory seats, and these well-bolstered buckets still look great today. The gray cloth coordinates with the dash, door panels, headliner, and carpeting to deliver a nicely cared for feeling. Plus, you have great features, like power windows, power locks, cruise control, power steering, AM/FM/CD stereo, and provisions for air conditioning. But what you really like about this interior are the driver-focused upgrades. The factory large speedo and tach are now joined by auxiliary readouts mounted on the A-pillar. The shifter is now a crisp Hurst unit. Plus, the EFI control system on the center console is a clear indication of something special under the hood.
The 5.0-liter V8 is one of the top motors for customizing because it's hardy enough to welcome plenty of upgrades. So when you lift the hood, this delivers exactly what you want in a custom Mustang. Not only do you have the fuel injection controller in the interior, but the V8 has also been enhanced and fortified with Cobra upper & lower intake manifolds, aluminum heads, Vortech Ignition boost control, and headers feeding the rumbling dual exhaust. There are even the right supporting components like the Ford Racing plug wires and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan. You get full control over this power package thanks to the five-speed manual transmission. Plus, as you look at the undercarriage photos, you can see a proper investment in keeping this Mustang feeling firm on the road including K-member brace, subframe connectors, and double sway bars in the rear. And the grip of modern performance tires and front disc brakes complete this handling package.
This is a great modern classic 5.0 with the kind of added performance you were already wanting to do. So it's your complete package that's ready to run right now. Call today!!!
