Absolute gorgeous 1930 Ford Model A Phaeton 5 Passenger Touring Car!

Beautiful green with black fenders. Black convertible top and interior-original matching engine and 3 speed manual transmission-white wall tires on original yellow spoke wheels-like new storage trunk on the rear of this original classic vehicle.

Owned by a 91 year old retired Baptist preacher for two decades. This may very well be the most traveled Model A in existence yet it looks new. 1 scratch on the passenger side rear black fender. Easy to fix.

This Phaeton was shipped along with its husband and wife owners on a steamer ship to their home country of Germany staring in about November of 1929. The husband became a Nazi military officer and drove the Phaeton during World War II. The vehicle was kept in immaculate condition in Germany from 1930 until 1945.

Shortly after the conclusion of World War II, and the defeat of Adolf Hitler's German army the couple had the car loaded onto a Lufthansa cargo plane and had it flown to Chile as other Nazi soldiers were doing during that time period in order to escape punishment for war crimes committed by Hitler's terrible reign and the slaughter of about 7,000,000 Jews.

The owners kept the Model A in Europe until 1982. After the original owners died their son had it shipped back to the United States and delivered to to his home in Miami, Florida. From Miami the touring car was sold to non family members and ended up in Atlanta, Georgia/ The vehicle maintains its original so called "flathead 4 cylinder matching number engine" and manual 3 speed transmission.

The beautiful Touring Car was purchased by Dr. Bill and Bettye Hinson about 20 years ago. The Hinsons were asked by President Gerald Ford to represent America in an international event, Dr. Hinson served in an administrative capacity at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and served honorably as pastor of several Baptist church during his many years as a minister of Jesus Christ.

Mrs. Hinson later died and sometime later in late 2021 Dr. Hinson moved into a retirement center in Houston and has recently relocated back to Waco., .
