6000 Reliance Dr
This 1964 Ford F-100 has a ton of appeal for fans of real vintage and real pickups. There's a very cool style in its honesty, and the V8 power means it still knows how to get to work.
The maroon sets the tone for this truck perfectly. It's clean and complete, but this is more about coverage than any high gloss showy style. If you're looking for a show truck, there's a ways to go on this one. But does have the good-looking sheet metal for a base. But really, we like it for the way it is today. It has an initial honesty, and as you look closer, you can see a touch of subtly added style. The black wheels go with the black bumpers and pinstriping added in the body ceases. The black liner paint in the bed coordinates, too. And it's part of that workman style that includes the real wood bed rails that look like they were crafted on a Wyoming ranch.
If you're going to have a rugged country truck, then it's hard to find a better way to showcase the durability than with denim covering the seat. This never tries to be fancy or matching. It just gives you the right features like an AM/FM digital tuner w/cassette and a working heater. And that three-spoke steering wheel has that thin/sturdy feel that just lets you know you're taking control.
Under the hood is Ford's 289 cubic-inch V8 motor. It's an upgrade later in life, but a very cool one considering the legendary 289 had its first full model year in '64. The nothin' fancy theme continues here with just a robust powerhouse with nice updates like the steel braided lines, newer shocks, and wide modern tires. The three-speed manual transmission gives you firm control, and there's even a hint of added rumble from the upgraded dual exhaust.
This is a unique F-100 with honest style and true usability. It's a great vintage package for real truck people, so if that's you, call today!!!
