DESCRIPTION

1967 Chevrolet Nova Hardtop

For consignment, a 1967 Nova with some of that zapped power put back in with some boring magic added in to the mill and an overall great looker. With Wilwood front brakes, a nicely installed roll cage, a built and reinforced suspensionand frame this former grocery getter is ready to haul the goods, and do it well.

Exterior
Painted in arrest me red, straight steel panels, great trim, and chrome, and shiny polished 15-inch Weld DragLite rims are seen on this very original looking simple but elegant grocery getter. Clearly this car was redone and I can note it is well done, with very nicely applied paint, well minded gaps, and time well spent on the polishing of the chrome. I would not go so far as to say frame off, however it truly is a restoration that was meticulously performed. A unique NOVA look with egg crate grille, single headlights, a tall reverse scooped cowl induction hood, a body bump out line running the gamut of the sides, and a squared off rear. All nicely proportioned and a wonderfully sloping rear glass. We are off to the races!

Interior
Breaking up the black shiny vinyl on each door is a chromed and white T which delineates the panels, one housing the armrest, door pull, and the other, door actuator and window crank. Black painted metal makes up the sills of these doors. Inside we note is very well done with like new bucket seats with some black tuck and roll bolsters, a smooth mid panel and a white stripe of vinyl cutting through the smooth center panels. Black piping is also surrounding these seats. The rear bench matches these buckets in its style and pattern. Upfront a simple angled dash using padded black vinyl on top and an aluminum panel through the center, with more black metal below. Some aftermarket gauges are in place of the radio and the heater slides are within this aluminum center. A Grant GT steering wheel is fronting this clean dash, and an AutoMeter tachometer is hanging on the left, strapped to the brushed aluminum tilt column. Black carpeting in good condition floods the floors, and on the hump is a Cheetah SCS Turbo Action shifter. The headliner is nice and tight and shows in black vinyl and does a wonderful job of framing the roll cage with its removable door bars.

Drivetrain
The rebuilt with 200 miles accrued 355ci comes from a 350ci mill which has been bored .30 over. Aluminum heads have been added along with a 4-barrel Demon carburetor to makethis a performer to say the least. Bolted to the back is a TH400 3-speed automatic transmission with a reverse manual valve body. Putting the power to the pavement is a Ford 9\" rear axle and we note headers start to snake their way past the mill and send spent fossils to a Flowmaster equipped dual exhaust system.

Undercarriage
Overall very nice with no surface rust to be seen...all buttoned up and shiny. A very nice job underneath with the chassis stiffening added in the form of sub-frame connectors and rocker bracing. Front Wilwood disc brakes and standard rear drums are all pumped with brake fluid from a Wilwood master cylinder providing the whoah factory and independent coil springs in front and on back, a ladder bar set up withcoil overs provide the ride.

Drive-Ability
A nice driver, wonderful limitless acceleration, and solid bias free panic stopping are just a few of the driver\'s highlights for this test drive. All in perfect working condition including all functions and conveniences. I could see all this through the tire smoke!

Well restored, well upgraded in the engine department, and nicely done interior, we have a runner, and a gunner. If you are looking for a smaller muscle car classic this one is truly a wild deuce!
