1978 Pontiac Trans Am Runs good and drives The paint is shiny and you are seeing reflections along the passenger side on the photo. Strong Pontiac 400, non numbers matching Rare factory 4 speed model but at some point was converted to an automatic. Has the clutch pedal still. Approximately 88% of the Trans Am's in 1978 were automatics based on the production numbers I located. I had planned put back in a Super T-10 but doubt I will ever get to it. 3.23 Posi SOLID FLOOR PANS, TRUNK PAN, AND QUARTER PANELS. Not a rusted-out T/A. Comes with notarized State of Washington Affidavit In Lieu Of Title Hood is not buckled, cracked, or bent. The doors close easily and nicely. The door hinge pins are as they should be. Odometer reads 89K. Possible could be actual based on how nice the driver's door closes. I cannot confirm the actual miles on the car or if it has the original odometer. Snowflakes Working Power Windows. Interior is decent...nice seats that are not ripped and worn-out like a lot of T/A's you see on craigslist. Also has a nice headliner. Speedo, Tach, volt meter work. The clock on the tach works! Most often the clocks are broken by now. T/A has the hard to find factory intermittent wiper set-up and it is operational. OEM paint. There are quite a few scratches that may not be visible in the photos. Driver's fender will need body work. Car will need a new windshield. Sub-frame connectors and larger after-market rear sway bar underneath. This is a real Trans Am '2W87Z' VIN for Pontiac 400 engine. This is not an Olds engine VIN and this is not a standard Firebird with Trans Am body parts bolted on. Tires are old and unsafe. Car will need to be trailered or hauled. -Vehicle is on consignment and at our clients home -Please Call First and talk to a rep at 231-468-2809 EXT 1 -Showroom is by appointment only Please Call -If you would like a FREE Listing please visit our consignment page or Call
