A restored 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air hardtop coupe,VIN# VC56A115007, and odometer reading of 2242 miles in Nassau Blue. This rear wheel drive, two door hard top classic is powered by dual four barrel carburetors, and a 4.3L small block 327 cubic inch V8 engine connected to a four speed manual syncromesh transmission. The vehicle sits on 15" wheels with 215/75R15 Coker classic whitewall tires and hubcaps. Booster drum brakes were added during restoration, and also power steering. The generator was replaced with an alternator (work performed by Middletown, Rhode Island automobile restorer Mike Nune). Other exterior features include a custom paint job, de-badged hood and trunk, dual exhaust, chrome trim, chrome bumpers, chrome headlight covers and paint matched rear wheel covers. Interior features includeOEMspecified replacement upholstery, the color panels are Nassau Blue and Harbor Blue, the original dash gauges complemented by addedMOONtachymeter, andMOONvoltmeter, pressure and temperature gauges. Hurst floor shifter, Visonik speakers, factory radio as well as aftermarket Kenwood head unit with AM/FM/CD player, manual windows and vent windows, locking glove box as well as front and rear bench seats. Front seats are a split folding type while the rear is a solid bench. Also included are original owners manuals, as well as photo documentation of a frame off restoration. The trunk contains a spare tire. Restoration occurred approximately 2007-2008, and this vehicle has been stored in a heated garage, only taken out to drive in dry weather conditions.
