800 Derita Road, Ste. A
When you're looking for that turn-key classic that's distinctive, affordable, and can carry all your family and friends, this 1961 Chevrolet Impala fits everything you want and much more.
One of the easiest ways for your classic cruiser to be instantly memorable is with the right paint. So if you love plenty of metallic element, then this one already has you hooked. The deep purple with heavy metal flake has all the appeal of the night sky just before dawn breaks (so it's no wonder this cosmic look is topped off with half-moon wheel covers.) It's a very cool package, and you'll love this for more than just the paint. The full-length side trim is a sporty-looking spear. It also provides a direct connection to the trim that wraps around the rear. We love the trunk line that the dipping "V" design that you could only get it in '61. This one is full of sporty classic style, right down to the wraparound glass that's not only in the front, but also the rear, too!
The exterior is not the only distinctive part of this custom classic. The interior is built to be both bold and comfortable. You see it best on the later model seats with plenty of comfy bolstering and bright red velour. This coordinates nicely with the door panels, carpeting, and dash. This is built to be a great cruiser with high-back bucket seats up front, a fold-down armrest in-between, and even a cup holder. You get a grippy Grant sports steering wheel, and the factory gauges are supplemented by a Sunpro package that includes an auxiliary readout trio and a large tach mounted on the steering column.
Under the hood is proper Chevy V8 power. The 283 cubic-inch unit is correct for this era, and it even has the right detail, like the bold orange block and valve covers. A set of headers feed the dual exhaust to add an extra hit of power and enhanced sound. This one feels good out on the road, and that's thanks to the right "power" features, like the Powerglide automatic transmission, power steering, and upgrade to power brakes w/discs up front.
The right features and a great V8 sound make this a custom cruiser with true go-anywhere appeal. So at a price like this, you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call now!
