This beautiful aqua and white 1966 Ford Bronco has undergone a complete rebuild with new paint, labor and lots of new parts yet it remains faithful to the original in almost every way. This half-cab version of the Bronco is rarely seen in such clean pristine condition. The gorgeous aqua and white four-wheeler is a feast for the eyes and is sure to get attention from serious collectors. Owned since 2008, the Bronco was completely rebuilt and refreshed by it's owner who is a career auto restoration professional. The work was done the right way. A straightforward car from a simpler time, this handsome little 4 wheel drive Bronco has only 76,199 on its clock. It is ready for the car show circuit or parked in your collection.
This '66 Half Cab Bronco has a lot of appeal. Our aqua beauty has had virtually everything shiny on it replaced. Anything bolting onto the engine has been replaced. Original body panels that could be saved were used, others replaced with new. A personal half-cab truck that offers show-stopping looks and great performance from the original engine and drive train. Low mileage, highly-collectible and in demand.
Beautiful aqua paint covers laser-straight body panels and Wimbeldon White covers the top. A flawless professional paint job with a great deal of prep work, it is perfect from every angle. Rear fenders are uncut originals. The windshield is new and so is the white grill up front. The headlight and taillight frames, door handles-all new. The hood, front fender and the left door are new. The car is completely rust free. The paint is so well done it almost looks like ceramic. Original wheels with locking hubs up front are painted aqua- they shine with the trim rings and new tires. The bed has been Rhino-coated and the entire underside of the car has been carefully painted in black.
Simple and straightforward, the interior of the Bronco is covered in aqua and white. Original seats were stripped to the frame, repacked and reupholstered. With pleats and aqua blue piping, they now exude comfort and style. The door panels and dash match for a cohesive, professionally done look. The bright clean interior is topped by a new headliner and a few touches of aqua paint on the dash. The steering column houses the 3-on-the tree manual transmission shifter and the 4-wheel drive selector is in the center of the floor. Original vacuum operated wipers have been replaced with the more reliable units. An aftermarket radio housed in the dash. The speedometer and a few simple controls finish the great looking interior. Everything works.
The original inline, 170 cubic inch, 6-cylinder engine has been refreshed with new gaskets, seals, an oil and a fuel pump. The water pump is also new as is the one-barrel Holley carb, the radiator and ignition components. Clean and bright, the engine compartment reflects the quality of work and care that has been poured into it. The original 3-speed manual transmission has been treated to a new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing. The four wheel drive works as it should. New drum brakes all around with shoes, cylinders and new rubber brake lines have recently been installed. New shocks and a sway bar keep things steady underneath.
Our inspector gave a great report and noted a lack of issues with the car. Also noted was how well the car ran, stopped and drove. A great report!
Perhaps you have noticed the increase in the value of these early Broncos. Our car is complete, beautiful and needs nothing. Good luck bidding.
