Series 40 Serial Number 4B3035430.

The vehicle was originally sold in Alabama USA in 1955. It was purchased from the owner in 1993 and in 1994 the vehicle was transferred through several hands eventually ending up in the Slocan Valley of BC. The import papers are available and will be sold with the car. The vehicle was sold several times in the valley. In January 2001 the vehicles, three Buicks, all 1955 Specials, two 2 dr hardtop, Rivera's and the Convertible were sold to the current owner. From that date the Convertible went through extensive reconstruction using the parts from the two parts cars as well as two other Buicks. One 1955 and one 1957. The vehicle was completed in April of 2014 and has been shown since.
Also included with the car is the most current appraisal for the vehicle which was conducted in April 2015 and valued the vehicle at that time at $63,300.00 Canadian.
The vehicle started construction with a frame on four stands and was built from that point.

Windows are original custom tinted windows made for the car.
Dash and gauges are all original. Heat gauge does require work.
Carpet is new and custom laid for the vehicle.

The heater system does require work and the heater core does currently leak. The heater system does work. The vent control is currently unlatched however is an easy fix.
The car is equipped with power steering however there is a need for new hoses for the steering. The car comes with the power brake system however currently has manual brakes.
Also included with the car is the aftermarket Buick custom air conditioning system less the generator.
The wind shield wipers are vacuum activated and it is suggested that a 12 volt conversion system be installed.
Depending on the buyer there are numerous spare parts for the vehicle, including engine heads, generators, intakes, carburetors, and other parts too numerous to list.
