DESCRIPTION
This body, one of only 120 fabricated by Darrel Zipp is a well engineered 1932 Ford roadster highboy with an elongated front opening hood, stretched doors, matching removable hardtop, matching mirrors and slant-back speedster style windshield creating a long smooth look. The chassis starts out with custom pinched frame rails by Lobeck Hot Rod Chassis. Ride control features include adjustable inboard rack and pinion coil-over front suspension and adjustable coil-over rear suspension design and 8 1/2 inch Ford 3:08 differential. The rolling stock is controlled by Heidts custom rack and pinion steering and Wilwood disc brakes riding on Billet Specialties Vintec wheels and directed by a Billet Specialties tilt column and leather wrapped Billet steering wheel. Power comes from a fully polished, Tuned Port Injection engine connected to a 350 Turbo transmission and driving a Ford 3.08 differential. Wiring is a Ron Francis system, powering VDO gauges. The custom interior is second to none and the upholstered, removable hardtop only reinforces the one of a kind interior. Consider trade for Corvette.
