1963 Ford Thunderbird 2 Door Hardtop finished in Rangoon Red exterior and matching red interior with chrome and aluminum accents. This body style, sometimes referred to as bullet style was introduced in 1961 and ended in 1963. This particular auto came off the assembly line on February 13, 1963 in Wixom, Michigan. It features air-conditioning, power windows, power brakes, power steering, power seat, swing-away steering wheel for easy entry and exit, and wire wheels. The 8 cylinder engine is a 390ci, 330hp with a new 600cfm Holley 4bbl carburetor driving the cruise-o-matic transmission and 3.00:1 differential for great cruising and drivability.
The following have been replaced: window felts, center console glove box, door sills, AM/FM radio, all dash and door and center console aluminum trim, dash pad, door panels, carpet, floor mats, seat belts, front cowl, trunk lid, stainless fender trim, new transmission cooler lines, exhaust gaskets, mufflers, starter. Transmission had gaskets, selector shaft seal and o-ring replaced and bands adjusted. 500 miles on restoration.
