DESCRIPTION

This real-deal VC-code 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air, and so it makes for an iconic car for the streets. And as you take a look at the full package, you\'ll see an enhanced fuel-injected V8, four-on-the-floor, and an overall attitude that tells you this was made to own the blacktop.

It\'s hard not to get excited about a \'57 Bel Air. It makes us think about American Graffiti style nights where if you met the right car at a stoplight, you just knew there was going to be a race to the next one. And that spirit is what makes this one so fun. It started as a grandfather and grandson project to create a drag car, and so it has a ton of powerful elements within the iconic style. That\'s good to keep in mind as you look over the full car. You have all the best features of a V8 Bel Air, like the gold accent grille/emblem, dual bullets in the hood, and distinct chrome bumpers. Plus, well-fitting doors help the full-length trim look like an almost unbroken line as it runs down the car and creates the iconic fan-style tailfin. The Colonial Cream is a true classic Chevy color, and it has the right look for a street machine. It\'s so it\'s built to be for fun and not a museum piece. And the lowered stance and 17-inch Torq Thrust wheels also signal this is meant to be driven.

The interior is a nice mix of custom cruiser and performance-oriented. It starts with the distinct white upholstery with red piping. The clean red carpet, white headliner with dome light, and two-tone door panels are all part of this nicely coordinated package. As you slip behind the classic racing-style steering wheel you can really start to see how this one likes to be diver-ready. A tilt steering column, AutoMeter Pro-Comp speedo, and Hurst shifter let you take a commanding position. And the full digital EFI controller is quite obviously a modern piece that lets you know that you\'ll like what\'s under the hood.

While the VC-code Bel Airs meant small block power, the V8 here is a complete upgraded package. This 350 cubic-inch unit has been enhanced with a Weiand intake, an HEI ignition, and X-pipe dual exhaust. Plus, it\'s topped with a Holley sniper electronic fuel injection system so that you can dial in your ideal power/efficiency setup. And the drag car feeling is seen in components that range from the Mickey Thompson valve covers to the oil accumulator. And we love the ability to fully harness the upgraded power with the four-speed manual transmission. But even if your plans are just to have a fun cruiser, this has you covered with power steering, power brakes, front discs, and a rear sway bar.

Complete with build receipts, this is an iconic Bel Air built for power car fun. You may decide to give it a respray, a more cruiser-style rear end, or some fun personalization. But it\'s hard to go wrong when you\'re presented with an icon that has some impressive upgrades that love to let this own the streets. Call today!!!
