This 1962 Cadillac Series 62 is a classic cruiser that's complete right down to its original paint and 390 V8. The two colors are expertly interwoven, and the black is exactly where you want it, like on the carpeting and the cloth inserts for the seats. All of this is believed to be factory, except for the headliner, and it has the kind of quality that makes you feel like it's the 1960s all over again. As a true Cadillac, this comes with plenty of features, including a power front seat, power locks, and fold-down arm rest in the rear for an individual level of comfort. You even have the Twilight Sentinel auto headlights! Cadillac's classic skinny dual spoke steering wheel gives you a terrific view of everything from the ultra-wide speedometer, to the AM radio that's still cranking out tunes. But we bet your favorite part will be the power windows. They mean you don't even have to leave the driver's seat any time you want to cruise around showing off this cool pillarless hardtop profile. And because the air conditioning system is blowing nice and cold, you can do this all summer long.
Cadillac's 390 cubic-inch V8 fills this engine bay properly with big power. This is the numbers-matching motor, and so is the Hydramatic transmission. Oh yeah, this is exactly what you want on a low mileage and distinct classic. So it's great to see this package so well presented with the blue block and valve covers hiding under the tidy black belts, hoses, and air grabber. And because you can tell this is a correctly maintained classic, you'll also be happy to know the V8 fires up nicely and runs like a smooth Caddy should. Plus, with power steering, power brakes, and the unmistakable supple ride, this classic still provides the proper luxury experience.
