1948 Studebaker Commander Landcruiser, Overdrive, climatizer heater,Am radio Steel Body on ladder type frame. Four door six passenger sedan front L head straight six, cast iron block and cylinder head, 245.6 cubic inches. Stromberg BXOV single barrel Carburetor, solid lifters, six volt, single exhaust. Everything under the hood is original. Original Steel pressed wheels 6.50 x 15 fattie white walls with chrome wheel discs, bias ply tires. This car is original as they come. Runs like a fine watch. Re-paint original factory color, couple minor scratches, Chrome is clean and shinny like new. Every thing works but the 1948 Am radio and the clock. Over $5,000 spent on the interior, original inter spring seats covered to factory specs. new headliner and carpet. floors are solid as the day it rolled off the line in South Bend. Trunk in the same. No rust, never had any. All glass is original, a little dis color on the edge of the wing vents. Windows glide up and down smooth as butter.Odometer just quit rolling at 75,999 just a few months ago.
