This is a U.S. export model, shipped in April 1961. Body in excellent shape: stripped, smoothed, painted 5 years ago by the previous owners at their Los Angeles body shop. No rust, and the undercarriage is clean.

Nice interior; red MB Tex with leather dash and door caps; no radio, clock works. If the buyer wants to convert to leather the seat covers and door panels are easily available.
This has the original hardtop, plus a refinished convertible frame ready for a new top in the buyer's color choice.


Mechanical work has been done for current owner by professional mechanics: front end, brakes, engine mounts, clutch, Mikuni carbs, and well maintained for past 5 years so it starts easily, runs well and drives nice. Note, factory replacement head on 190SL block: not numbers matching. New Vredestein tires this spring gives this car a very smooth ride.
Purchased 5 years ago in Los Angeles with body restoration work done by previous owners there, and imported by us to Canada. Located and registered in Vancouver, BC.
California title was clean, and our past export/import documents are in hand so it's straightforward to register in any state.
There is a simple process to import this car into the U.S. : drive 35 miles to the border or use a broker, and then meet frequent enclosed car carrier trucks in Blaine WA 98230 to go anywhere. 2.5% tariff/duty by U.S. Customs is required.
