EXTERIOR: Special paint color; Sebring yellow which shows up as - - on the trim tag. Has genuine metal ram air hood with fiberglass scoops in excellent shape. The body is really clean and straight. Has show quality paint. It is beautiful, smooth and glossy. Even smooth to the touch. They paint is excellent on the bumpers, both fit the body real well too. In front the chrome trim and grills are excellent. Wheel well moldings, marker lights, emblems look new. Door handles are original. Wheels are freshly restored, center caps, trim and lug nuts look new. Has BFG tires. Windshield is brand new. In back the lenses, emblems are excellent. Door jambs are slick. New window seals and weatherstrips.
INTERIOR: I'm sitting in the car as I write this and I'm very impressed. The dash area is extra clean, not abused. The chrome bezels, burl wood trim, vents, heater controls, factory radio all look great. Ashtray door not cracked, has original lighter. Inside the glovebox looks new. Has the Rallye gauge cluster and Tik Tok Tachometer, it all appears to be working including the clock. Also has a sport wheel on a tilt column. The optional bucket seats are reupholstered, new back trim and chrome accents. The carpet is excellent, has reproduction Olds floormats. Door panels and armrests look like new, has small nick on passenger side. Headliner, visors and mirror are excellent. The GM seat belts are real nice.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The ram air Rocket 350 puts out an impressive 310 hp and 390 lbs of torque right from the factory. This motor is vin # matched to the car. It has the complete and correct air cleaner assembly. Bottom of the hood is painted nice, has correct chicken wire screen. Has factory air conditioning system. The condenser is bad, a new one in the box is included. Overall it's very clean, tidy and proper. It's all there- washer bottle, fan shroud, Delco reproduction battery topper etc.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Really clean metal in the trunk. Quarter panels look original, up under the speaker deck is clean. It has a nice spatter finish paint. It also has the gray felt liner and optional black rubber Oldsmobile mat. It has a yellow rallye wheel with an original Goodyear tire for a spare. Complete jack assembly including the lug wrench. Wiring is clean, trunk light works. The jamb and under the lid are painted beautifully. Latches are detailed, new weatherstrip and decals. Includes an assembly manual.
UNDERSIDE: Clean original underside. Metal looks dry and clean. The floor braces, inner rockers are nice. Upfront it has disc brakes. The steering components look good. Bottom of the motor is clean, has flywheel cover. The turbo 350 auto is vin # matched to the car. Has original 3.42 rear end. This also has the sport suspension which includes sway bars and boxed control arms. New shocks in back. Has a recent stock dual exhaust with the trumpet tips.
I'm an Olds guy. Overall this is a nice, honest, smooth car. Has a lot more options than most others. This is an opportunity to buy a rare, exciting muscle car that draws attention!
