Cadillacs were truly the envy of the elite when this 1953 Series 62 coupe was built. And while the classic style upholds best Caddy traditions, you can also see there's something more going on here. The extra slick exterior, full custom A/C interior, and Corvette fuel-injected power under the hood are all about giving you a truly unique head-turning cruiser.
Cadillacs of this era are a true exercise in style. Everything from Dagmars up front, to the gas cap hidden behind a flip-up taillight are designed to make every other driver jealous. But that's just the classic style. You can instantly tell this one has been given some custom upgrades. It's a smoother look with the trim expertly eliminated from the hood and trunk. Plus, the door handles were shaved. But while some pieces were smoothed, they made sure to invest nicely to keep the best brightwork shining. The huge form-hugging bumpers, intricate trim, factory wheel covers, and golden Cadillac side scripts remain complete on this example. And it's a true exercise in style where the grille seamlessly flows into the wraparound front trim, and the rear bumper integrates the dual exhaust. And because this is such a cool mix of vintage and new, they chose the ideal paint. The cream color has a nice 1950s vibe, but it's done with some extra luster from the modern clearcoat finish.
You'll love popping the remote door opener from the key fob, because not only does it look cool, but also it's your gateway to the full custom interior. You can instantly see there was a small fortune spent upgrading this already premium Cadillac to a modern interior finished with plenty of supple saddle-style leather. The seating is a full custom setup that includes an intricate rear bench and custom chevron trim in the seatbacks. Up front there are two individual buckets with plenty of modern bolstering for all-day comfort. Yours even power adjusts to the ideal comfort position. There are a ton more great features, like a cruise control, power locks, a tilt steering column (with artful Cadillac wheel,) power steering, custom cup holder center console, and upgraded stereo with USB and Bluetooth. The door panels and dash have been expertly done so that they bring the interior and exterior style together. In fact, the full package is a detail-oriented setup where they even utilized the hood ornament to now be the centerpiece of the interior. And since this has a full power windows package, it's easy to roll down all the glass so everyone can see the pillarless hardtop profile. There's also cold-blowing air conditioning so you can remain feeling as cool as you look behind the wheel of this custom Caddy.
Even the engine bay is ready to show off on this coupe. The smooth cream covers funnel all your attention to the shining powerhouse in the middle. GM fans know the look of fuel-injected LT1 power. While this 350 cubic-inch V8 was borrowed from a C4 Corvette, you can see they gave it plenty of added style before going into this Caddy. There's even added performance from a mild Comp Cams camshaft. But this modern power is all about making this comfy Caddy a smooth runner. That's why you also have more nice cruising upgrades like a three-speed automatic transmission and an aluminum radiator w/electric fan.
The sale comes complete with the owner's manual, service manuals, and a full front disc brake upgrade kit. This is custom coupe that was built to be comfortable to drive anywhere and get noticed everywhere. Call today!!!
