DESCRIPTION

This 1978 Ford Bronco combines classic V8 4x4 styling with nice investments like bright paint, an A/C interior, and fuel injection. That makes this the total package that's ready to run right now.

The second-generation Bronco is where Ford really turned it up a notch. Larger styling, larger engines, and just an overall larger presence. So when it debuted for 1978, it was an instant legend. This bolder Bronco idea was taken to heart on this example. The blue paint is a modern upgrade with a nice electric-like luster. There's plenty of more radiance from the chrome bumpers, bright bezels, 15-inch wheels, added side steps, and upgraded billet grille. And we like the added sophistication of how the full-length pinstriping matches the tan hardtop. But this one is also built for function. Fender flares, wide towing mirrors, and a proper trailer hitch remind you that this one was built for go-anywhere kind of fun.

Sea of blue continues inside with the bold exterior color returning on the dash and side panels. And now it's joined by deeper tones on the door panels and comfy velour seats. In fact, the cloth seating is especially nice for the rear because the removable hardtop can give you the classic convertible SUV feeling whenever you want. There's even cold-blowing air conditioning to keep this one comfortable when you're open to the world. Other great features include front bucket seats, a tilt steering column, a cup holder center console, and upgraded AM/FM/CD stereo with aux input. Plus, the added tach goes great with the stick shift.

While the previous generation Bronco stopped at Ford's 302ci V8, this one has a period-correct 351 cubic-inch motor. And you can tell from the tidy presentation, newer belts, and crisp components that this has received the right care along the way. Even better is that this V8 now has electronic fuel injection for added power and consistency. It fires up eagerly and makes a nice tune out of the header-fed dual exhaust. And the four-speed manual transmission gives you proper control over it all. A two-speed 4x4 transfer case, beefy axles, and Yokohama Geolander tires mean this powerful classic can still take you deep into the wilderness. Plus, power steering, power brakes, and front disc brakes make it a fine choice for in-town easy cruising.

The second-generation Bronco was only available for a couple of years. So when you can find such a nice example that's been given all the right investments to be fun from day one, then you know you need to hurry on this deal. Call today!!!
