Absolutely stunning car. The looks are off the charts, quality is high and it has all the features you want!
EXTERIOR: This is a sexy, sexy 57 Bel Air 2 door hardtop. The tropical turquoise paint is slick as glass. The body is laser straight, the gaps all line up like a new Mercedes. Even with the windows up, the doors click shut. The little flippers on top work. Every single piece of stainless and chrome trim has been restored to show condition, I mean every piece. The stainless moldings are polished like chrome. Every piece of chrome is new. The brushed inserts on the 1/4 panels, gold emblems and frames, chrome frames around the windows all are show quality. All new smoked glass. Door jambs are painted just as glossy as the outside, weather strips and window seals are new. The stance is perfect. The 17 inch chrome wheels are the cherry on top.
INTERIOR: Restored from carpet to headliner to the original vintage style with some nice modern upgrades. The upholstery, door panels, headliner, visors are all new reproduction. New mirror, window cranks, door handles, armrests. The dash is painted just as slick as the exterior and all the chrome trim has been replaced, it sparkles. It's been updated with some nice digital gauges and a tilt column with a leather wrapped steering wheel. There's a retro stereo with 6x9 speakers in the rear deck and speakers in the kick panels. The heat and air controls look original but are all new electronic instead of cables. Has new power windows that zip right up.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: GM Ramjet 350-345 hp crate motor. Designed to look like the vintage Rochester fuel injection but has the modern port technology. These are great trouble free motors and they run strong. All the components are updated. The alternator, Vintage Air heat and air system, CPP power brake system, power steering, all new wiring, electric wipers are all upgraded. Aluminum Griffin radiator with dual electric fans keeps it running cool. Everything is tidy, clean and proper.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Trunk compartment is painted as slick as the outside. Has a new rubber mat and a white wall tire for a spare. New weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: Solid with lots of upgrades. The front end was all rebuilt, has new springs, shocks, bushings, balljoints and swaybar. Upgraded with rack & pinion steering. Looking up at the motor it looks spotless, starter looks new. Has disc brakes at all four wheels. 700R-4 overdrive automatic trans. New driveshaft and u-joints. In back it has new leaf springs and shocks. New fuel tank, sending unit, fuel pump and lines. New dual exhaust system.
I'm around gorgeous cars every day, this one gets my juices flowing. It is one hell of a slick car. Ready to drive in comfort and style. You will be making some people jealous, unless you procrastinate and they beat you to it!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
