1949 Mercury Monarch
of course its not for they would rather see it rot than be restored
where is it at?
Too bad it's not for sale. I hope there's still something left by the time it becomes available. As we often see too many of these return to the earth unneccessarily. This one's been sitting a long time.
If that is a Monarch, then it is not a Mercury. Monarch was an upmarket model sold at Ford dealers in Canada, though it used a Mercury body, it had Ford mechanicals and interior. Mercury dealers sold the Meteor, which had a Ford body with Mercury interior. Meteor and Monarch are considered separate makes.
well said ears jesse james is in fact a gigantic tool
sights like this are almost nonexistent.try finding a cool one of these just sitting around nowadays....
It needs to be cruising again....but hey...as long as it dosent go to the crusher....!!!!
no hudson here son...lol
THE ONLY MERC ON EARTH THAT ISN'T CHOPPED
Chops on coupes are over rated, and Jesse James is a tool.
Do it flat black and a chop job, like jesse james. It will be BAD ASS!!! Its my dream car...
LEADSLED love it
French the headlights, add flush body color door handles and a pair of fuzzy dice and it is good to go!
that is so cool it would make a nice street rod
Just add some cherry bomb mufflers and She'll Be better than new
it would make a nice american grafitti type low rider
i have two 49 mercs in my shop all original and a 1936 olds coupe and a 1938 ford two door sedan all of em in great original shape
