I used to see lots of big ol' trucks like this down in Alabama when I was a kid. Seems they were all hauling watermelons and were as full as they could be.

your right the kab and the front end look about 5 or 6 years different.

Hi, Yes it's a Mercury truck made in Canada. The body design and it's style like this one could be very confusing because during the World War two. The factory had to put designing on hold So the appearance and looks frozen in time between '42-'47, FYI. David

Looks like a Canadian Mercury truck by the trim, probably a 1946 or 47.
