It's a 66, 289 V8. Why would anybody just let it sit and rot?! Don't they know that parts are cheap to get for these. My daily driver is a 66 hardtop and it is cheaper than my parents SUVs.
oh yea roger32514 thts cause nobody wants to sell these lovely cars and people want to get rid of the corvairs

i know a place in southwest georgia with a couple of these bad ponys for sale its a mustang junkyard i bought a 66 shell for $500 iif anyone wants one bad enough go there
