The plan is to keep the body as close to stock as I can afford. The Chassis is being switched for a late model Chrysler with PS/PDB/AC. The cost of the chassis was less than the cost of the rebuild parts for the original frontend by 1/3! Motor is a Chrysler 360 another place where the rebuild parts were 1/2 less than for the original 6. Still unsure about wether or not the fenders will be bolted back on with the original style welting or if they will be welded and molded into the body.

Nice, hopefully will get done old school.
Sounds like a great plan. If the flathead in my Plymouth ever dies I'd likely go for an upgrade (slant 6 or V-8)which would make the car a far better driver.
