Not exactly a Rusty Ride! In fact, I had a hard time finding any rust on this abandoned Classic 1959 Chevrolet Elcamino. I forgot to check under the hood for a possible 348??
hot56custom 1957 Ford was way behind Hudson in car trucks. The land down under had utes while GM had little take the deck lid off a coupe and install a box kit in the 30s.But guess a Ford T was a light pickup just by swapping the turtle deck for a pick up box.
All ways think of the TV show Wonder Years when I see a 59.See a lot more 59s than 60s.Guess thats the reason they dropped them till 1964 and started in midsize then.
Cars pictured in Rusty Rides are not for sale. Rusty Rides serves as a tribute for vehicles left to rust away in barns, fields, yards, and along roads.
