1955 Chevrolet Cameo
Check out this rare 1955 Chevrolet Cameo, one owner truck. Another great Rusty Ride photo from Shagrat! Unfortunately the owner said this one is not for sale!

This pickup is incredibly rare, the production numbers for all 4 years(55-and 1/2 58) was under 6k. All of them had big back windows, Cameo was the first Chevy double layer box, Studebaker was the first overall. Are these available?

These were more the pretty trucks.StreetRodder or HotRod mag?S.R. I think, did a fiberglass fix last year and used a Cameo's bed sides in the redo. They said that the quality was not as good as vettes from the factory on the glass.

I can't see a fiberglass bed lasting to long on a working truck

It'll be a real shame if this thing doesn't get restored.

55 was the first year and 58 the last.First chevy fleet side I know of.Low production numbers 5,500 in 55 the highest and only 1,405 in 58.The tail lights are 54 chevy car I think.Bed side skins are fiberglass.
