There is a four door first gen like this (white even) abandoned in a back yard near us. Savable too, unlike this one. The early Mustangs were based on the Falcon platform, four bolt wheels and all the rest.

These Falcons are easy to build. Parts interchange with a lot of Mustangs. Cheap to build and fun to drive. They shared the same rust issues that Mustangs did.
this looks like a 1963 model.
