1958 Triumph TR-3
We now offer financing
This Triumph presents well. Some scratches under the driver door and some chipped paint under the passenger door as well as on the driver front fender. All the stainless along the fenders is in good shape. Stainless around the headlights, windshield, taillights and trunk hinges show age. Rock guards on rear fenders could use a refinish but no signs of rust. The magnet feels a bit light along the front fenders between the wheel and doors on both sides. Looking inside the fenders I don''t see any evidence of body filler.
Top is included but is missing glass. Trunk is filled with bubble wrapped pieces which are believed to be the side curtains for the car. Chrome on bumpers is not cracked. Windshield is free of cracks. Grill is complete with no cracks or bends.
Carpet and seats are clean with no tears. Slight fading and wear on some of the vinyl that runs along the top of the doors.
Car starts and runs fine. Took her for a little drive and she shifts through the gears without problems. The engine sounds healthy and makes an excellent sound. Steering feels solid, suspension is in good order and car stops as it should.
Headlights and brakelights are working but blinkers are not functioning. Horn button on steering wheel does not work, an additonal button that is working is under the column. Fuel gauge was found not working.
The Triumph was recently serviced with repairs to the radiator. The carbs were also rebuilt at the time.
