 Vehicle Description
~~Question, does a 265lb man fit in an MG Midget? The answer is yes. I owned one of these cars when I was 17, did lots of the work myself and really enjoyed the car, drove it thousand of miles to school and back. Unfortunately it was not nearly as nice as this one. This 1973 MG Midget in a really nice Dark Blue with a Black interior and no rust or rot. The paint is newer and the interior is in good and passable shape. There is one seam in the drivers seat that needs attention, but other than that the interior is in overall good condition. There is a brand new carpet set in the car along with some manuals, and odds and ends. This Midget stars immediatly, runs and drives nicely, shifts well, brakes well, and sounds just as it should with a charming throaty exhaust. Overall mechanically this car is in very good condition, the body is in excellent condition, never having seen a winter, and and it drives as a Midget should. This is a later model Midget with the 1500cc engine with a single upgraded Webber carburator all functioning as they should to produce 65hp which propel the car from 0-60 in aproximately 11 seconds. Not bad for a small zippy car! This was originally a Florida car that made its way to New England within the last five years. It was a retirement toy for an older gentleman that passed away, not in the car, and it ready for a new owner to enjoy. Put down the rag top and head out onto some fun country roads to enjoy the summer!!
